After being in the rumour mills for a while, vivo has finally revealed the launch date for its latest mid-ranger, the vivo V50. Set for debut in India on 17 February at 12pm local time, read on to learn more about the device.
A microsite for the smartphone’s launch is already live, revealing the V50’s design and key specs along the way. Design-wise, it has a curved display and a rather unique camera module housing dual cameras at the rear and a selfie shooter housed in the punch-hole cutout of the screen.
The cameras were revealed to all be 50MP ZEISS shooters, with the rear comprising a primary and an ultra-wide. The battery is a massive 6000mAh cell which supports 90W charging via the USB-C port.
Other specs revealed include IP68 and IP69 ratings, as well as colour options of either Rose Red, Starry Night or Titanium Grey. For the full specs and price, we just have to wait until 17 February.
