Yesterday, the vivo V50 was finally launched in India at a starting promo price of 34,999 Indian Rupee. That's roughly around ~RM1.8K from a direct currency conversion to Malaysian Ringgit but for now, here are the official tech specs of the vivo V50.
The V50 is a mid-range tier device featuring a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and accompanied by a couple of memory variants. It has 8GB and 12GB of RAM, as well as 128GB, 256GB and 512GB of storage. The display is quite big as well, sporting 6.77 inches and it uses an AMOLED panel with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.
The dual rear camera was confirmed before its release but to recap, it has a 50MP (OIS) Main + 50MP ultrawide setup. Meanwhile, the front camera is also 50MP and all the lenses are ZEISS'. Another confirmed feature that was teased a few days ago is the 6,000mAh battery pack with 90W FlashCharge technology.
Besides that, the V50 is running on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. Other features that are worth mentioning are the 5G Dual SIM Standby, Bluetooth 5.4, IP68 and IP69 Dust and Water Resistance Rating, and the Smart AI functions such as Circle Search, Live Translation, Transcript Assist and Erase 2.0 for photos. - 8GB + 128GB - 39,999 Rupee (~RM2K)
- 8GB + 256GB - 42,999 Rupee (~RM2.2K)
- 12GB + 512GB - 48,999 Rupee (~RM2.5K)
