vivo Watch 5 to launch on 21 April with up to 22 days of battery life, AI running coach and more

Previously, we shared vivo’s announcement of several new products in China, including the Pad 5 Pro, Pad Se and Watch 5. Now, the company has released more details about the vivo Watch 5, revealing that the smartwatch will launch on 21 April in China. 

Taking to its official Weibo account, the Chinese tech firm also revealed some of the smartwatch’s key specs. Most notably, the Watch 5 will feature up to 40% better stamina than its processor, with vivo claiming up to 22 days of battery life.

Moreover, the Watch 5 will run on vivo’s own Blue River OS rather than Wear OS, which utilises less power. In terms of health tracking, the smartwatch sports a 30-second rapid risk assessment for arrhythmia and other heart-related tracking.
