vivo X100 Pro confirmed to feature Dimensity 9300 SoC and an in-house V3 imaging chip

The vivo X100 series has been in the rumour mills for quite some time and now, the company has confirmed several of its key specs. These include the chipset powering the X100 Pro, as well as its camera sensors. 

Taking to its official Weibo account, vivo published a teaser video for the X100 series, with emphasis on the Pro variant. Accordingly, the X100 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, making it the first smartphone powered by the new chipset.

Besides that, vivo is also putting its in-house V3 image chip inside the device, which would further improve its imaging capabilities. Speaking of which, the teaser video also revealed a Zeiss APO super-telephoto lens that the company claims would deliver superior image quality, especially in low light. 

Furthermore, vivo has also revealed the rear design of the X100 series, which features a large circular camera module. There are 4 colour options, which are blue, orange (officially named Sunset Orange Peel), white and black.
