Besides the new vivo X300 FE, vivo Malaysia has also officially launched the flagship vivo X300 Ultra, marking the first global launch of vivo’s top-tier X Series imaging phone outside of China. That said, what should you know about it?
A formidable flagship
For your information, the X300 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset alongside vivo’s VS1+ imaging chip. It packs a large 6600mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging support. The phone also comes with a 6.82-inch 2K ZEISS Master Color Display, IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and up to 7 years of security maintenance.
Additionally, the X300 Ultra features a ZEISS co-engineered camera setup with three prime focal lengths: 14mm ultra-wide, 35mm documentary, and 85mm telephoto. vivo is also introducing two optional telephoto extenders, including a 200mm version and a new 400mm equivalent extender for long-range photography.
Moreover, the main highlight is its 200MP 85mm ZEISS APO telephoto camera, which supports up to 60fps AF Tracking for moving subjects like sports, wildlife, and concerts. vivo says the lens also includes gimbal-grade optical stabilisation for steadier handheld shots.
For video creators, the phone supports Multi-Focal 4K 120fps 10-bit Log Video and Dolby Vision recording across all rear cameras. vivo is also pushing its cinematic features with Film Look presets, custom LUT support, and a new Pro Video Mode that mimics professional cinema camera controls.
