Today, vivo has finally unveiled the X300 and X300 Pro. The new models are shaping up to be one of the highlights of vivo's late-2025 lineup. Here's everything you need to know about vivo's latest camera phones.
vivo X300 Series Tech Specs
Powering the X300 series is the next-generation MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. It's manufactured on a 3nm process and delivers significant improvements in computing efficiency and AI capability. The chipset is backed by 16GB LPDDR5X RAM in the vivo X300 Pro (or 12GB for the vivo X300) and up to 1TB in fast UFS 4.1 storage.

Battery-wise, the vivo X300 Pro has a sizable 6510mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The vivo X300 has a 6040mAh battery instead, but shares the same wired and wireless charging specs.
For the display, the X300 Pro has a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 1260x2800 resolution, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate and adaptive LTPO technology. On the other hand, the vivo X300 has a smaller 6.31-inch display with a 1216x2640 resolution.

The highlight of the X300 Pro is its custom-designed 200MP periscope telephoto camera using Samsung's ISOCELL HPB sensor (1/1.4-inch) with an f/1.68 aperture and ZEISS T* coating. CIPA 5.5-rated image stabilisation allows longer exposures with reduced blur.
As for the other sensors, this is the rest of the triple-camera array:
- 50MP Sony LYT-828 Gimbal-Grade Main Camera (1/1.28-inch) with advanced HDR and large pixel size for improved low-light performance
- 50MP ZEISS ultra-wide lens for landscapes and multi-subject scenes
- 50MP ZEISS front camera with autofocus and a 92° FoV for selfies
The vivo X300's setup is nearly identical, but uses the 200MP HPB sensor as its main camera. This is paired with a 50MP Sony LYT-602 telephoto camera, 50MP ZEISS ultra-wide camera, and 50MP ZEISS wide-angle front camera. The vivo X300's telephoto camera is rated CIPA 4.5 for image stabilisation, which lets users enjoy a "shoot first, crop later" experience.

The telephoto module will deliver 4K video at 120 fps, and multi-frame HDR enabled by vivo's custom imaging hardware and high dynamic range algorithms. Another new video feature is the 4K 60fps Portrait Video, which supports unique styles like Cold-White and Classic Negative that allows for cinematic-quality footage.
What's interesting this time are the ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender and Photography Kit, accessories that are compatible with both vivo X300 series devices. These allow users to more high-quality long-distance shots, plus a more comfortable time when taking photos, thanks to the traditional camera-like grip.
Software and Extra Features
The device ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, positioning it among the first flagships to run the latest operating system. As for the camera, it's optimised with a next-gen focus-tracking engine and Blueprint processing algorithms to deliver DSLR-level dynamic range and motion capture.
Launch Timeline and Pricing
The base vivo X300 with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage retails for CNY 4,399 (~RM2613), while the vivo X300 Pro with the same memory configurations is priced at CNY 5,299 (~RM3147).
