vivo X90 Pro+ will be the first device with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 to go on sale

We officially have the first device to go on sale with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. vivo has announced on its website that the vivo X90 Pro+ uses the flagship chip, and it's going on sale starting from 6 December.

It's worth mentioning that the vivo X90 Pro+ already debuted on 22 November. However, the company didn't reveal the chip that powers the device, as it only listed the X90 Pro+ with a 4nm TSMC chipset. Originally, Xiaomi was the one that should sell the first device with the chip. Since the Xiaomi 13's launch got delayed, it's given a chance for vivo to claim the crown.

The vivo X90 Pro+ is a pretty decent flagship. It sports a 6.78 inch OLED display, having a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,300 nits of peak brightness with HDR10+. The display also houses an in display fingerprint scanner, while the device's body being IP68 certified. Furthermore, it features a quad camera setup (50MP + 48MP + 50MP + 64MP), and the front uses a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
