vivo X90 release: MTK Dimensity 9200 SoC, 120W fast charge and vivo V2 ISP chip, starts from ~RM2,374

vivo has brought the vivo X90 series to the market today. The latest flagship series brings three devices - vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. As the event is still happening, let's have a look at what the already-announced vanilla X90 has to offer!

The most basic vivo X90 features a 6.78-inch centered punch-hole 10-bit curved OLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, 452 PPI, and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Its panel also offers up to 2160Hz PWM dimming and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Under the hood, it gets powered by MediaTek Dimesnity 9200 chipset, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. There's also a 4,810mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging.

Furthermore, the triple-camera setup brings an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony IMX866 primary snapper, a 12MP ultra-wide unit, and a 12MP 2x telephoto shooter. They also get covered by Zeiss T* coating lenses. It's also worth mentioning that vivo uses the vivo V2 ISP chip for image processing. On the front, the device offers a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Other tech specs include an IP64 rating, an x-axis linear vibration motor, dual stereo speakers, and OriginOS 3 based on Android 13. The vivo X90 arrives in two finishes, with two colours (Red and Blue) for the leather back and only one (Black) for the glass build. It's going for 3,699 Yuan (~RM2,374) for the 8/128GB variant, 3,999 Yuan (~RM2,566) for 8/256GB, 4,499 Yuan (~RM2,887) for 12/256GB, and 4,999 Yuan (~RM3,208) for the 12/512GB model.
