vivo has launched the vivo Y01A in Thailand, the company’s latest offering in the affordable smartphone segment. A variant of the vivo Y01, the smartphone features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The storage option is also rather basic, with only a singular 32GB variant being offered. Thankfully, there is a microSD card slot for you to expand your storage.
The Y01A packs a 5000mAh battery which supports 10W charging, though the device still uses a micro-USB port for charging and data transfer instead of USB Type-C which is ubiquitous nowadays. In terms of imaging, the device sports a singular 8MP camera with LED flash at its rear and a 5MP selfie camera at the front housed in the teardrop notch of the display.
Other notable specs include dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, Android 11 (Go Edition) via FunTouch OS 11.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE and colour options of either Sapphire Blue or Elegant Black.
In Thailand, the Y01A is priced at THB3999 or ~RM514. As of right now, vivo has yet to reveal the device’s availability in other regions.
