vivo Y100 5G launches with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 from ~RM1163.85

If you are a fan of vivo smartphones, this news might catch your attention. Recently, the Chinese company released the new vivo Y100 5G in Indonesia. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, this phone features a fibre leather back panel that is used to create a premium effect. This is combined with a square camera module that contains a tri-camera system in a vertical arrangement. The front panel is kind of perforated, and as many as two colour variations are available which are Orange Purple/Onyx Black.

In addition, it sports a 6.67″ FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel also packs a single 8MP selfie camera and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. At the same time, it offers a peak brightness of 1,200nits, a DCI-P3 colour gamut with 100% SRGB and a display capability of up to 1.07 billion colours.

Moreover, the phone comes with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The included 5000mAh battery can be charged using the USB-C port and 80W FlashCharge charging.

Camera-wise, it features a 50MP + 8MP main camera, as well as IP54 waterproofing for added protection. The sale price starts at IDR 3,899,000 (~RM1,163.85) for 8/128GB while the 8/256GB version is IDR 4,199,000 (~RM1,253.40) each.
