vivo has quietly released a new affordable smartphone offering in Singapore, the vivo Y17s. Featuring some competitive specs in its price range, read on to find out more about the smartphone.
First up, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. There’s also a 5000mAh battery under the hood which supports 15W charging via the USB-C port.
Display-wise, it’s a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. There’s also a water-drop notch which houses an 8MP selfie shooter.
At the rear, the main camera setup features a 50MP main shooter paired with a 2MP depth sensor. Other notable specs include an IP54 rating, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, Android 13 OS via FunTouch OS 13 and colour options of either Glitter Purple or Forest Green.
In Singapore, the Y17s is priced at SGD199 or ~RM684. It is expected to be released in other Asian countries, including Malaysia soon.
