After launching the vivo Y20 back in August, the brand is fast enough to announce a 2021 model that comes with a different chipset. Other than that, it is said that most of the other tech specs are similar between the two models.
The vivo Y20 (2021) has replaced the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. It will also sport a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD panel and has a 5,000mAh battery under the hood. The battery will be supporting an 18W fast charge instead of just 10W. Other than that, you will get the Funtouch OS 11 and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
For photography, the device comes with a triple-camera setup on the back that consists of a 13MP primary camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there will be an 8MP sensor placed in a waterdrop notch.
The vivo Y20 (2021) comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and has two color options that are Dawn White and Nebula Blue. It will be priced at RM599 in Malaysia, but it's unclear when it will go on sale. Stay tuned to TechNave.com and we will let you know once we receive any information!
