vivo Y200+ 5G release - 6000mAh battery, SD 4 Gen 2 SoC and 50MP main camera from ~RM673

vivo has released yet another variant of its Y200 Series smartphones in China, this time the vivo Y200+ 5G. Featuring some competitive specs for an affordable price, read on to learn more. 

Under the hood, the Y200+ 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Battery-wise, it’s a massive 6000mAh cell with support for 44W charging via the USB-C port.

Meanwhile, the screen is a 6.88-inch 120Hz LCD with an HD+ resolution, 1000 nits peak brightness and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 5MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP shooter paired with a secondary 2MP depth sensor. 

Other notable specs include an IP64 rating, a “rock-cushioning structure” for better durability, a 7.99mm thickness and colour options of either APricot Sea, Sky City or Midnight Black. In China, the Y200+ 5G starts at CNY1099 or ~RM673 for the base 8/256GB storage, with global availability yet to be announced.
