vivo has been busy lately with the launches of several devices and the company ain’t resting on its laurels now. Taking to Weibo, the company has announced that it will launch a new mid-ranger soon in China, the vivo Y200 GT 5G.
Specifically, the company said that the Y200 GT 5G will launch at 2.30pm local time on 20 May. Attached with the Weibo post is a render of the device in black and blue, alluding to its colour options.
Nothing much about the device was revealed though, but the renders do reveal a dual-camera setup at the rear with an LED flash. However, according to rumours, the device is likely to be a rebrand of one of the iQOO Z9 series smartphones.
Given vivo and iQOO’s relationship, this is highly likely and not the 1st time both companies have rebranded each others’ devices. Accordingly, it is highly likely that the Y200 GT 5G will be a rebranded iQOO Z9 Turbo, which is powered by the SD 8s Gen 3 SoC and up to 16GB RAM, as well as feature a 144Hz OLED.
Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet. Until further info is available, stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news such as this.
