vivo Y200i release - 6000mAh battery, SD 4 Gen 2 Soc and 44W charging from ~RM1057

vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone in China, the vivo Y200i. Featuring some competitive specs in its price range, read on to find out more about the device. 

The processor powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC paired with 8 or 12GB RAM and 128, 256 or 512GB of storage. Under the hood, there’s also a massive 6000mAh battery with support for 44W charging via the USB-C port.

Display-wise, it’s a 6.72-inch 120Hz LCD with an FHD+ resolution, 1800 nits peak brightness and a punch-hole cutout at the top centre housing the 8MP selfie shooter. Meanwhile, the rear houses the 50MP main + 2MP portrait dual-camera setup. 

Other notable specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 14 via OriginOS 4, dual SIM, 5G connectivity, a 3.5mm audio jack and colour options of either Blue, Glacier White or Midnight Black. In China, the Y200i starts at CNY1599 or ~RM1057 for the base 8/128GB variant.
