vivo has secretly launched the 5G version of vivo Y30 today. The latest device features the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC instead of the Helio P35, giving it the 5G capability. Now, let's continue reading to know more about the other tech specs and features served by this device!

The vivo Y30 5G sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD with 720 x 1,600px resolution. Under the hood, it supports up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Both are expandable with virtual RAM (+2GB) and a microSD card (up to 1TB) respectively. There's also a 5,000mAh battery that sadly supports only 10W charging.

For photography, the device has a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The front uses an 8MP sensor housed in a waterdrop notch, which can also be used for face ID. Other features include several 5G bands (n1, n3, n28, n40, n41 and n78), dual SIM card tray, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, satellite positioning systems, FM radio receiver, 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint reader, FuntouchOS 12 based on Android 12, and more.

The vivo Y30 5G retails for THB 8,700 (~RM1,056) in Thailand, and it's available in two colour options - Starlight Black and "Rainbow Fantasy" (an aqua/peach gradient). It's unsure if the device will make it to Malaysia, but we'll let you know as soon as we receive any new information.
