After releasing the Y300 Pro 5G and Y300 Plus 5G, vivo has announced the release date of the vanilla version of the series, the vivo Y300 5G. Set for release in India on 21 November at 12pm local time, read on to learn more.

Taking to its official Indian website, vivo showcased the design of the Y300 5G, which includes a boxy design, with dual cameras at the back paired with an LED ring light. Moreover, the device is offered in 3 colours, namely purple, green and Titanium.

The design of the Y300 5G seems to match with the V40 Lite 5G, which was released in Malaysia back in October. If that’s the case, then do expect a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, 12GB of RAM (+ 12GB of virtual RAM, making it a total of 24GB*), a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and a 5,000mAh battery pack with 80W Flash Charge.

The V40 Lite 5G also features a 50MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) dual rear camera setup, a 32MP front camera and its special AI Aura Light Portrait function on the back. Of course, we just have to wait until 21 November to know for sure whether the Y300 5G is just a repackaged V40 Lite 5G.
