vivo Y31s release: SD 480 5G chipset, 90Hz refresh rate, and 5,000mAh battery, priced at RM1,061

Earlier, it was reported that Qualcomm will be launching the entry-level Snapdragon 480 5G chipset in Q1 2020. Today, it has quietly arrived in a new budget-friendly 5G smartphone from vivo. Despite not hurting your wallet, the latest vivo Y31s still comes with impressive specs like a 90Hz refresh rate and a 5,000mAh battery. Now, let's read on to find out more about the smartphone.

The vivo Y31s sports a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2408 × 1080 pixels (FHD+), 20:7:9 aspect ratio, and 90.61% screen-to-body ratio. It is also paired with 6GB LDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The 5,000mAh battery will be supporting 18W fast charging as well.

For photography, the device is equipped with a rear dual-camera setup that consists of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there will be an 8MP selfie camera housed in a waterdrop notch. Lastly, the vivo Y13s will be running Funtouch OS 10.5 based on Android 11 out of the box.

The vivo Y13s will be priced at 1,698 Yuan (~RM1,061) when it goes on sale in China on 15 January. It will also be available in three colour options that are Monot Color, Titanium Empty Gray, and Ruby Red. For now, it is still unknown when the device will enter the local market but we will let you know once we receive any latest news.
