vivo has launched yet another variant of the vivo Y35 in China, this time around an entry-level 5G smartphone named the vivo Y35m. Sharing almost all the same features of the Y35 5G, the device sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
Moreover, the panel has a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 1500:1 contract ratio, 88.99 per cent screen-to-body ratio, a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch. Under the hood, the Y35m is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with either 4, 6 or 8GB of RAM, with only a singular 128 storage option for all variants.
In terms of imaging, the smartphone features a 13MP main + 2MP depth dual-camera setup at its rear and a 5MP selfie shooter at the front. Users can expect excellent battery life with the Y35m as it rocks a 5000mAh cell that supports 15W charging.
Other notable specs include dual SIM, 5G connectivity, Android 13 OS via OriginOS Ocean, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.2 and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Moreover, the device is offered in two colour options, Star Orange and Starry Night Black.
In China, the Y35m is available in these configurations and respective price points:
- 4/128GB - CNY1399 or ~RM893
- 6/128GB - CNY1599 or ~RM1021
- 8/128GB - CNY1699 or ~RM1085
