Today, vivo Malaysia launched another new entry-level device the vivo Y36 5G. Note that despite being in the Y series, it's the first in the lineup to have 5G connectivity. It's currently priced at RM1099.
In terms of tech specs, the vivo Y36 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 6020, 8GB of RAM (+8GB Extended RAM), 256GB of storage, and runs on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13. On the exterior, its LCD measures 6.64 inches in FHD+ resolution and the front camera is hanging out there as a 16MP sensor.
On the back, it has a dual rear camera consisting of a 50MP (main) + 2MP (bokeh) setup. Besides that, it's worth mentioning that the Y36 5G supports an IP54 water and dust resistance rating, a USB Type C port, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a dual nano SIM tray. It also has a 5000mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge technology.
There seem to be no pre-order or bundle details but the vivo Y36 5G will be available at several outlets. This includes:
