First up, the Y36i 5G features a 6.56-inch 90Hz LCD with a resolution of HD+ and 840 nits peak brightness. It sports a water drop notch which houses a 5MP selfie shooter, which is complemented with a 13MP camera paired with an anti-stroboscopic sensor.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. There’s also a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W charging via the USB-C port.
Other notable specs include Android 13 via OriginOS 3.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G connectivity and colour options of either purple, gold or black. In China, the Y36i 5G is priced at CNY1199 or ~RM786.
