vivo Y51 release: 5,000mAh battery, triple camera setup, and Android 11, priced at ~RM991

Last week, vivo Indonesia's Twitter account has posted up a teaser for the new 2020 version vivo Y51 and the device has been launched in India today. The 2020 vivo Y51 comes with a massive battery, triple rear cameras, and Android 11 that are packed with an affordable price. Let's find out what else the new vivo smartphone is bringing!

The vivo Y51 sports a 6.58-inch Halo FullView display with Full HD+ (2408×1080) resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. If you are not satisfied with the storage space given, there will be a micro SD card slot for expansion. The vivo Y51 is also equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging via a Type C port.

For photography, the triple camera array offers a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro shooter. On the front, there is a 16MP sensor being housed in a teardrop notch for selfies and video calls. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi. The device runs Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box as well. It is priced at Rs 17,990 (~RM991) and available in two colour options which are Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony. For now, it is unsure when will the device be launched in Malaysia but we will let you know as soon as we got the update.
