After launching the vivo Y53s back in June, the brand is quick to renew the lineup by bringing the successor, vivo Y54s, to the market today. This time, vivo has switched lanes by equipping the device with a MediaTek chipset rather than Qualcomm's.

The vivo Y54s gets powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 paired with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage and 6GB of RAM. There's also the virtual ram expansion feature that allows it to have an extra 2GB. Furthermore, it sports a 6.51-inch LCD, but, instead of supporting a 90Hz refresh rate, it comes with a 60Hz panel this time. Fueling the device is a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging support.

For photography, it gets a dual-camera setup comprising 13MP primary and 2MP depth units. On the front, it uses an 8MP sensor housed in a waterdrop notch. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and comes with Multi-Turbo 4.0, which has an E-sports Mode, Game Space 5.0, and 4D Vibrations for a better gaming experience. The device is priced at CNY1,699 (~RM1,112) in China.
