vivo Malaysia unveiled its latest Y series phone yesterday. Promptly called the vivo Y78 5G, it's currently available in one variant and costs RM1399. Here are the details of the tech specs and features.
Available in either Flare Black or Dreamy Gold, it carries a Snapdragon 695 chipset, 8GB of RAM (+ up to 8GB Extended RAM) and 256GB of internal storage. It has a big 5000mAh battery pack as expected and even comes with 44W FlashCharge technology. It's running on FunTouch OS 13 based on Android 13.
The display measures 6.78 inches and amazingly, vivo managed to slap on an AMOLED panel and it supports FHD+ resolution as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. The 16MP front camera is at the top centre of the screen, whereas its triple rear camera consists of a 64MP primary sensor with OIS, alongside ultrawide and telephoto lenses with 2MP each.
Besides that, the Y78 5G also supports Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, OTG, and Type C connectivity.
