Today, vivo Malaysia has announced its new budget-friendly smartphone - the Y81i for an affordable price of RM599. It will be available across multiple platforms, such as Lazada, 11street, Shopee, PG Mall, LMall, Ezbuy, Aladdin Street or the official vivo online store for RM599. Those who purchase it will bring home a free earphone as well.
To describe the tech-specs briefly, it has a respectable 87.9% screen-to-body ratio on its 6.22-inch FullView display and supports AI Face Beauty on the 13MP rear camera. The Face Access function is present as well on the notch and it runs on a rather low memory capacity of 2GB + 16GB (expandable memory is available) but at least the battery is not bad standing at 3260mAh. Oh well, can't expect much from an entry-level device.
