We are not even in November yet and vivo has already released another iQOO smartphone. Introduced in early February, there are already FIVE different iQOO variants including the latest member - the iQOO Neo 855 (yes, that's the name). Let's what this gaming phone has to offer.
As the name suggests, the device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (strangely, not the plus version) and have four different memory variants with 6GB and 8GB of RAM, alongside 64GB (UFS 2.1), 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. The design is pretty much the same as well, using a 6.38-inch AMOLED display (HDR10) with a waterdrop notch but now has a new colour skin - Icelandic Aurora. There's also Neon Purple and Carbon Black.
vivo is also focusing this phone its connectivity with a dual-WiFi acceleration technology to ensure a smooth gaming experience. Speaking of speed, it also comes with a 33W fast charging 2.0 technology that is said to charge up the phone up to 25% within 10 minutes. Of course, you can expect some gaming optimization software which it has, promptly called the MultiTurbo 2.0 and there's a super-liquid cooling system too.
In other tech specs, it also features a 12MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera, 16MP selfie snapper, 4500mAh battery pack, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB C, an in-display fingerprint sensor and more. The estimated prices can be referred below:
- 6GB RAM + 64GB - ¥1998 (~RM1183)
- 6GB RAM + 128GB - ¥2298 (~RM1360)
- 8GB RAM + 128GB - ¥2498 (~RM1479)
- 8GB RAM + 256GB - ¥2698 (~RM1597)
At the moment, it seems that vivo has no interest in exporting this gaming smartphone globally so we don't think we will be seeing this anytime soon, unless if they change their minds, of course. Stay tuned for more vivo news at TechNave.com.
