vivo has officially revealed that the brand will make a switch from Funtouch OS to a new custom operating system (OS) named Origin OS. The news came from a post that appeared on vivo's official WeChat account to announce the vivo Developer Conference 2020.

Before Origin OS, vivo was planning to switch to Jovi OS but has later abandoned the project. Now, the switch is finally happening and a new era for the smartphone brand is coming. The Origin OS is also rumoured to be debut together with the upcoming vivo X60 series.
