Recently at the German Red Dot Award, vivo was just awarded the 2020 Red Dot Design Concept Award. So what concept device did the company just came up? Well, well, well, if you already saw the thumbnail, they are calling it the vivo IFEA and it has a detachable camera module.

According to the official statement from the event, the vivo IFEA's detachable camera module is a front camera sensor and it has its own separated photography system from the phone. When attached, the camera integrates itself with the phone and users are able to shoot and record images on the go. Obviously, having a detachable front camera allows the phone to reach its display measurement to the fullest and it can hide inside too.

On top of that, it is said that the user can use voice command to control the device. It also appears that it's not the only module that vivo made, as there are other 'accessories and support mechanisms with different modes to increase stability and storage'. Even without being attached, the front camera is still able to take a photo from the phone (watch the full video here).

The vivo IFEA is still a concept device and there's no word if vivo would actually make this into a reality. BUT what do you think? Is this concept practical? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending news at TechNave.com.
