It seems that vivo has officially confirmed on their official weibo page stating that the vivo S9 series will come equipped with a Dimensity 1100 chipset, as well as UFS 3.1 storage. Unfortunately, there’s not much else that’s officially known other than what was mentioned, so you might want to check out the official online launch that’s happening on 3 March 2021.
In terms of the speculated tech specs, it seems that the vivo S9 series will come with a 6.44-inch 90Hz display, up to 12GB RAM, 4000mAh internal battery which supports up to 33W fast charging, and up to a 64MP rear camera. However, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that vivo has yet to provide an official statement on the leak.
Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs for now.
