Vivo sure has been quite busy over this few months, right now, they have released the latest vivo X21i in the China market. The X21i is slightly different from the X21 counterpart, with the former housing a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, while the new one is using MediaTek's latest Helio P90 chipset.

Available in Ruby Red, Aurora White and Polar Night Black. This is vivo's more premium looking smartphone yet with a 2.5D glass and a 19:9 screen-to-body aspect ratio, covering almost 90.3% on the front. What's more, the displayed measured as 6.28-inch and that's a big one. Also, it's a bit odd that they have switched up the memory combo, the 6GB RAM will combine with 64GB storage, while the 4GB RAM model gets 128GB worth of space.

Of course, you can also expect a bunch of AI features on the phone such as scene detections, AI Beauty Mode and there's Jovi AI assistant as well. Without further ado, below is the official specifications:

  • MediaTek Helio P60 chipset + APU
  • 4GB and 6GB of RAM
  • 64GB and 128GB internal storage (expandable memory available)
  • Measures 154.37 x 74.98 x 6.99mm, weighs 159g

Polar Night Black model

While it's probably not coming to Malaysia anytime soon, the 6GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB are actually carrying the same price tag of 2698 Yuan (~RM1679). It's a weird strategy, but hey, if it works then it's not stupid.
