vivo's latest foldable, the X Fold+ will launch this 26 September 2022

vivo today announced that its latest foldable smartphone, the vivo X Fold+ will be launching in China this 26 September 2022. Taking to its official Weibo account, vivo shared a render of the upcoming foldable with the aforementioned date, in which a launch event will take place in China at 7 pm local time. 

According to the Weibo post, vivo lauded the X Fold+ as a “strong will evolve in a stronger way” which may allude to its enhanced durability compared to the original X Fold. The poster of the Weibo post also showed renders of the smartphone in its unfolded state as well as two renders within its folded state.

Besides that, vivo hasn’t revealed anything official regarding the foldable, though we can guess from the poster that it will come in red and light blue colour variants. According to previous rumours, the Fold X Fold+ will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 paired with up to 12GB of RAM and a 4730mAh battery.

Moreover, it is touted to feature 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, a 120Hz screen and up to 512GB of storage. However, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet.
