With 2020 kicking off, there is bound to be more and more smartphone "leaks" on the Internet and in the latest one, there seems to be a new vivo smartphone with a new "cross" quad-camera design. According to Toutiao, a media website from China, this patent was filed as early as May last year at the National Intellectual Property Office (CNIPA).

In this never-seen-before patent image, this unknown vivo smartphone is sporting a set of four rear cameras which we can assume that it is comprised of the main camera, an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto lens and perhaps a macro lens. But that's not all, the front display has the punch-hole camera on the top right with a rather high screen-to-body ratio (definitely passing over 90%) and narrow bezels.

Besides that, we also got to look at the exterior ports such as the 3.5mm headphone jack on the top, as well as the USB C connector at the bottom alongside the SIM tray. With all that said, though, vivo Malaysia have given us their comment that the design is not guaranteed to be released into the market any time soon (but for all you know, they could be just bluffing with us or else there's no reason for this to come out online so conveniently lol).

But anyway, what do you folks think about the design? I personally don't mind the look as long as the smartphone performs. Let us know in the FB post comments and stay tuned for more vivo news at TechNave.com.
