Nowadays, more and more people are using smartphones for mobile gaming simply out of convenience. And recently, vivo has released a new vivo X20 special edition that's supposedly "perfect" for mobile gaming, especially with "King of Glory" that's popular in China, simply called vivo X20 King of Glory Special Edition.
Unfortunately, we don't think we will be seeing this gaming device anytime soon in Malaysia since there's no price nor availability mentioned by vivo. However, we do have some clues about the tech-specs. According to JD.com, a well-known e-commerce site in China, they did a survey of their customers saying that most smartphones do not meet the requirement of a gaming device, as most are just under 6GB of RAM, lightweight, no fps rate, game modes and more. But with the King of Glory special edition, it has successfully passed the JD Gaming Smartphone Standard by meeting the requirements.

vivo X20 is also certified as the official tournament smartphone by KPL on the King Of Glory tournament 2017
According to vivo, the X20 features an AMOLED Full View display with a screen-to-body 18:9 aspect ratio which covers the front at least 85.3%. Memory capacity is at least 6GB + 64GB, the CPU core has more than 2.0GHz, a GPU supports rendering up to 60 fps and a dual MIMO design that supports a new 2.4G and 5G WiFi to ensure strong signals while gaming. There's also a game engine that monitors the system for smooth gaming performance, as well as a new unique soft keyboard that occupies less than 1/3 of the screen for easier typing.

In other news, the vivo X20 Plus is also in the works and rumours have it that it has received 3C certification. The device is strongly linked with the much-teased ultrasonic under display fingerprint scanner technology thanks to the listed UD version which could mean under display.
Do you think these two devices will ever come to Malaysia? We don't know for sure but we will keep an eye on them until then, stay tuned for more vivo news at TechNave.com.
