Today, vivo Malaysia has just released a very intriguing teaser on their Facebook page. Obviously, it's about the ultrasonic under display fingerprint sensor and it looks like it will be revealed soon at CES 2018. Furthermore, the smartphone that might be the first to use it is the X20 Plus that we speculated last week.
According to an insider, the X20 Plus UD has just recently passed the 3C certification from China Quality Certification Center on 2 January 2018. Since vivo can now utilize the under display fingerprint sensor, that means they can almost maximize the front screen fully and rumours have it that it's measured 6.43-inch. Other than that, the processor could be a Snapdragon 660 and there will be a new vivo built-in image software as well.
In other news, Synaptics also announced that its own first under display fingerprint unlock will be released on CES. This is very likely a reference to the X20 Plus UD. We can't wait to check it out so until then, stay tuned for more vivo news at TechNave.com.
