UPDATE - vivo Malaysia have confirmed that the vivo X50 series will be arriving in Malaysia as well. With this, it's safe to say that the local launch will be the same as the global launch.
During May, there were several reports of the vivo X50 Pro featuring a gimbal optical image stabilizer on the rear camera. This usually signals the phone is coming real soon and turned out it is, as vivo just teased that there will be a global launch for the X50 series.
According to sources, the global launch will be in July 2020 and before that happens, the X50 series will have to appear in China first and there's a good chance that the tech specs might be different for different regions. Malaysia will probably be one of the first waves to get a good look at the smartphone, but we will have to wait for a few weeks for that.

Rumours also have it that there will be the X50 and X50 Pro+ variants and we might not get all three of them. In terms of tech specs, the X50 series will be a mix of mid-range and high-end device featuring a Snapdragon 765G (X50 and X50 Pro) and 865 chipsets respectively (Pro+), 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage. The display also supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+.
