What a hectic week, as we mentioned from our previous Newsbytes, there were several new smartphones launches over the past two weeks and the biggest highlight is obviously the Huawei P30 Series, which has a crazy zoom in feature that can go up to 50x with the P30 Pro, whereas the P30 can go up to 30x. Realme has announced that their recently released Realme 3, will be on sale on Lazada for the low price of RM549 on 4 April 2019. That being said, the device will only be limited to the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant in the Radiant Blue colour scheme. We had an idea that the OPPO Reno may feature a pop up camera as we have seen the device leaked showing off a completely bezel-less display but we weren’t sure how it may be implemented. A leaked hands on video surfaced this morning, showing off a triangular pop up selfie camera on the OPPO Reno.

No, this isn’t an early April Fools joke. JPJ now requires all e-hailing drivers such as Grab to register for a PSV (Public Service Vehicle) license, starting from the first of April 2019. The PSV training module would cost a maximum of RM200, and it requires up to 6 hours to complete. Once the training has been completed, the driver required to display a designated e-hailing sticker on their vehicle as per the orders of JPJ.
