As the hype goes on for the introduction of the new A-series by OPPO Malaysia, apparently OPPO has a new smartphone tagged along with the coming OPPO A9 2020 which is the OPPO A5 2020 that listed on their official site. While it offers a similar design to the OPPO A9 2020, tech specs and features including the same 6.5-inch 1600 X 720 resolution waterdrop sunlight screen display and a 3D ergonomic back.

After the slew of Apple iPhone 11 series, Apple iPad and Apple Watch 5 announcements, Apple are also announcing that their Apple Arcade game subscription service will be available for RM19.90 per month starting from 19 September 2019 with a 1-month free trial to begin with. The catalogue will have more than 100 games and all Apple Arcade games can be played offline with each subscription offering access for up to six family members via Family Sharing. 

During the launch event, Apple has also unveiled the Apple Watch 5 which comes with various new and upgraded features such as an Always-on Retina Display, Apple Hearing, Apple Women’s Health and more. The watch has two variants which are the GPS, as well as the GPS+Cellular for the price of USD399(~RM1662) and USD499(~RM2079) respectively.

Apple has recently announced the 7th generation iPad, which is equipped with a 10.2-inch retina display, 10-hour battery life and iPad OS starting from the price of 329USD(~RM1370). Other than what was mentioned, the new iPad comes with an 8MP camera, TouchID, SmartConnector as well as Apple pencil support.

Huawei’s Clement Wong, Head of Global Product Marketing recently held a media roundtable here in Malaysia to discuss their HarmonyOS and Kirin 990 chipset. At the event he confirmed that not only is the open source microkernal-based HarmonyOS designed and made for all scenarios meant to go beyond Android, Linux or iOS but it is also likely coming to Malaysia, so HarmonyOS powered devices may soon be available outside of China as well.

Huawei recently unveiled the timeline on when selected Huawei and HONOR device such as the Huawei P30 series, Mate 30 series, HONOR 20 series will be getting the EMUI10 update.
