Now that Microsoft has sold off its Nokia division, they may just have the right resources to focus on creating a really good smartphone. The rumours are flying fast and high that the next Microsoft flagship phone will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 830 chipset.

Even as we get more advanced flagship smartphones - some with crazy amount of memory, others with great camera and processing power – the new VR platform from Google may just be too much for them.

If you're a fan of leaks, chances are you've heard of Evan Blass as @evleaks from Twitter known for leaking information and rumours on various gadgets. Earlier this month, it seems that the long awaited HTC smartwatch would be unveiled on 6 June but however, it's delayed by HTC until fall according to Blass's tweet. This isn't the first time by the way.

As per the norm, leaks have appeared before the official announcement, this time about the ASUS ZenPad Z8. Coming courtesy of @evleaks, the ZenPad Z8 looks to be going for a more rectangular look with sharper but still rounded corners, slimmer bezels and dual front speakers. According to him, this ZenPad Z8 is headed for Verizon in the US so no Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet.

The Huawei P9 and P9 Lite officially went on sale in Malaysia starting from 28 May 2016 at all Huawei stores. The upcoming Moto Z smartphone has apparently leaked, showing off a refined metallic look with a flat back. Taking over from the Moto X, the Moto Z will likely have tech specs that include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, 5.5-inch 2K AMOLED display, 13MP rear camera with OIS and 2600 mAh battery with a 5.2mm thin chassis. The leak comes courtesy of @evleaks so it seems likely that it is genuine but do take it with a pinch of salt. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but the Moto Z is expected to be announced on 9 June at the Tech World conference.

Logitech and Ultimate Ears recently announced new color combinations for their UE Boom mobile wireless speakers. Featuring 360-degree sound anda double play feature, the UE Boom speakers have a specially developed acoustic skin that is both water- and stain-resistant. The new colours includes the UE BOOM Black Strap Face and UE BOOM White Strap Red with Teal Fabric for RM799, available at all authorized sellers.

The current generation Samsung Gear VR is great for wire-free VR experience, but there is no real control solution for the experience – until now. It has been revealed that Samsung is making their own VR controller to be used with the Oculus-powered Samsung Gear VR.
