The recent CES 2016 saw a number of new devices and smartphones being announced and the upcoming honor 5X was one of the top picks from various tech media. This included Android Central, Gotta Be Mobile, Tom's Guide, PC Mag.com, PhoneArena.com, CRN.com and Android Authority. While there is still no official Malaysia pricing just yet, the honor 5X is due for its Malaysia debut next week on 26 January 2016. Currently, the honor 5X offers tech specs that include a full metal build, fingerprint sensor, 5.5-inch full HD display, 13MP rear camera and more for just $199 (RM853). Ever thought of how to get rid of your old smartphone? Well Huawei is here to help. Huawei Technologies Malaysia has just become the first smartphone manufacturer in Malaysia to offer an online trade-in. The trade-in service can be done officially from the company's online retail portal, Vmall.my.

Good news to Samsung fans, Samsung Malaysia Electronics have unveiled a Samsung Galaxy Note5 in Pink Gold colour. Currently on a retail price of RM2699 (GST), the device is a limited edition and will be available from 21 January onwards.

Yes by YTL Communications is swinging into action with their new Yes Super 88 Postpaid Plan. If you still remember, Nokia released a promotional video just two days ago indicating their return to the industry. Rumours are already circulating around the internet with their latest device from Baidu, showing us two unknown Nokia devices in black and white. 

Judging from the design, it looks like the smartphones could be in full metal. It also retains that tough look from their early cellphone days, yet looking gentle as well. Volume controls and power button are located at the right side of the device from upfront, and both are equipped with a LED flash, camera and speaker at the rear.

Two unknown ASUS devices were spotted in GFXBench just recently, and it was speculated that it could be the upcoming ZenFone 3 in two variants. 

The first model, under the code-name Z010DD is to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset (with a 1.5 GHz octa-core CPU), 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage,  5.9-inch 720p display, a 12MP or 13MP rear camera + 5MP selfie snapper, and an Android 6.0 Marshmallow inside the hood. 

Nikon D500 will soon be released in USA first for $2000 (around RM8728) and a promotion video by Nikon showed up in their YouTube channel, highlighting its 4K UHD sample recording in the mountains. 

As the first DSLR (along with the Nikon D5) to fully equip the 4K UHD recording capability at 380 x 2160 at 30p/25p/24p, the D500 also sports a 20.9MP camera which has an “advanced smart device capability” built-in that allows your smartphone and other gadgets to be compatible with the DSLR for convenience. It also has the EXPEED 5 image processor, 153-point AF system, video recording capability of shooting Ultra HD 4K (3840 x 2160), and an insane ISO range reaching 1640000. 

If you've been following the so called Apple “iPhone 6c” rumour for awhile, you may have probably run across a YouTube video by Chinese website M.I.C. Gadget claiming that it is Apple's rumoured 4-inch iPhone. The Chinese website has accurately leaked some Apple products before in the past, but the video seems looks too similar to the Apple iPhone 6s. 

It looks like Logitech is getting a good start of year, as it was announced that five of its products have won the 2015 GOOD DESIGN Award for design and product category. That's the fifth consecutive year for Logitech to be awarded by GOOD DESIGN Awards. The five products that were awarded are Logitech Wireless Mouse M280, the Logitech ConferenceCam Connect, the Logitech Keys-To-Go, the Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480 and the Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse.

Huawei honor 5x and honor 7 Enhanced Edition smartphones, and the honor Band Z1 is coming to Malaysia soon on 26 January, but we also just got a word that the Honor Holly 2 Plus will be revealed too in Delhi, India on 28 January. Below are the tech specs:-
