The Xiaomi Mi Band 1S is currently on sale at RM65 only at its launch, which is just slightly more expensive than the price of its predecessor the Xiaomi Mi Band was when it first launched. Weighing at only 5.5 grams and measuring 37mm x 13.6mm x 9.9mm; this little fella is light as a feather (metaphorically speaking). The battery power has increased from 41 mAh to 45 mAh and previously the Mi Band could last 30 days so the Mi Band 1S should be able to last longer. However, there are some new features that might sap away its longevity or remains the same (we shall see).

Weibo has once again teased us of a new image from HTC showcasing the HTC One X9, this is quite a surprising move (if it is legitimate) because HTC just launched the One A9 not too long ago.
If the original website proved to be true, then the One X9 is a force to be reckoned with since the tech specs are superior than the One A9. The tech specs are as follows:-
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, or a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB to 128GB of expandable internal memory
- 5-inch display with Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels)

An online store in Europe called eFOX revealed the still unofficially announced Meizu Pro 5 mini on its site along with the price and tech specs. While it is not official just yet here are the tech specs:-

Canon just recently announced two new PowerShot G models - the Canon PowerShot G5 X and PowerShot G9 X, in line with premium digital compact cameras designed for simplicity of photo taking they offer a new optimized button layout for the user. Both models are equipped with Canon’s latest imaging technology and comes with a large 1.0” 20.2 megapixel CMOS sensor that renders higher sensitivity for superior image quality. Yes, you read that right. A shop in China has figured out how to upgrade your Apple iPhone or iPad’s storage up to 128GB of space without causing it to brick on you. How did they do it? Hey, it’s China. They can do anything.
Apple products aren’t easy to modify, as they install a software protection that verifies the hardware in the right configuration. That’s not even the main problem, because you need special tools to work on the hardware and chips and it’s difficult to do so. Not to mention, the iPhone 5s’s motherboard is really tiny to be ejected out safely for the memory chip inside. According to the shop owner, he has very little trouble with iPads and the iPhone 6 is easier to handle but the iPhone 6s is still untested.

According to Weibo, there are rumours going around that analyst Pan Jiutang was heard to be saying Samsung is considering a 10% discount on the Samsung Galaxy 7 when it debuts next year.
Recalling the past, Samsung did the same strategy for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge by cutting 10% too, and it seems to be a good marketing strategy for the group in their last quarter which ended on a positive financial note thanks to the good sales of flagship devices. On the other hand, they’re doing this to also keep themselves in the competition with various Chinese smartphone manufacturers heating up price wars in retail and online channels.
