While rumours are going around about Google's next device, it looks like LG may retain its right to make the next Google smartphone in the form of the LG Google Nexus 5. While LG did make the Google Nexus 4, this rumour is based more on the fact that Google CEO Larry Page has been avisiting with LG and been in numerous talks with LG head officials such as chief executive Koo Bon-joon. Based on this report from Korea Times Google has probably selected LG to make the Nexus 5.

While the release date for the LG Optimus G2 has been confirmed already by Won Kim, LG Chief of Mobile, in Q3 of 2013, images regarding how the LG Optimus G2 looked like have not been released... officially. Unofficially, a couple of images have appeared on EvLeaks that may just be the LG Optimus G2. The smartphone with the LG logo on it has some curved glass, very thin bezels and a really big earpiece. In our previous news we mentioned that Nokia was investing in U.S. Pelican Imaging with possibilities of a Lytro-like technology for Nokia smartphones. Recently, Pelican Imaging have released more detailed information on how this would be achieved, mainly through their 16 lens array smart camera and a new image that can be editted for refocusing anytime on any hardware.

By now, we've all seen the paper thin tablets that came out of CES 2013, but some people haven't just been watching, but actively working on taking these concepts to the next level. The same team who brought us the PaperTab from CES 2013 have been hard at work to create the MorePhone which is a paper thin smartphone that curls up when it receives a call or notification. Rather than vibrate, the MorePhone morphs, curling or bending depending on what alert or notification you receive.

While supposedly real pictures of the Samsung Galaxy Note III have appeared, apparently this has been confirmed as a ZOPO ZP950 Android handset with a 5.7 inch screen and not the Galaxy Note III. According to new rumours, the Samsung Galaxy Note III currently has three different prototypes which will be used for the final design. The renders above show that the Note III will most likely follow the same look and feel as the Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV.
