After multiple telcos have announced their plans for the 5G rollout in the country, Maxis has also come forward to promise that it's bringing the latest generation mobile network to its users. The company has issued a public release about utilising Digital Nasional Berhad's (DNB) network for its 5G services.

HUAWEI today quietly updated its global website with a new device that is likely to be marketed in the affordable smartphone segment, the HUAWEI nova Y61. It features a 6.52-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels), a standard 60Hz refresh rate and supports up to 1.67 million colours.

Starting from 1 November 2022, Celcom customers, including Celcom Business customers, who have 5G-enabled devices and are subscribed to selected Celcom postpaid and prepaid plans, will automatically be able to access 5G network services within 5G coverage areas. 

The caretaker Menteri Besar of Perak, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad has announced that the state is expected to reach 80 per cent 5G network coverage by the year 2024. Furthermore, 106 new 5G network sites will also be built in Perak by the end of the year, complementing the existing 37 network sites in the state.

Despite it only being October, it looks like Apple has already finished with its product releases for the year and will only be launching new products in 2023. This is according to reliable tipster Mark Gurman who also revealed that Apple will be releasing M2-based MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch laptops in the first quarter of 2023.
