Xiaomi recently updated the Support Policy page on its official website to include a list of devices that it will no longer maintain software updates. This end of support (EOS) list entails a whopping 70 devices, with the most recent smartphone in the list being the Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE.
Furthermore, the products on the list include Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones, with POCO phones to be added in the future when their promised updates have reached its end. Xiaomi said that it will no longer maintain any software or firmware updates - including security updates - for the products included in the list.

Telekom Malaysia (TM) yesterday announced that it has expanded its fibre network to cover 5.9 million premises in our country within just the first quarter of 2022. Hence, TM is now only 100,000 premises short of the targeted 6 million entrusted to them under the National Digital Network (JENDELA) initiative.
TM chief executive officer (CEO) Mohamed Tajul Mohamed Sultan lauded the expanded fibre network coverage, saying that it would speed up the launch of 5G network in Malaysia. He further said that TM’s fibre infrastructure would benefit mobile telecommunication towers.

Announced by Search Product Manager, Belinda Zeng via a Google blogpost yesterday, the new feature is called ‘multisearch’ and will be embedded within Google Lens. First teased by Google in its ‘Search ON’ event in September last year, the multisearch feature is available as a beta in English within the United States starting yesterday.

The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) today iterated that it has never sent an email regarding the 2022 Special Withdrawal application status to its members. This is after EPF members reportedly received fraudulent emails from irresponsible quarters claiming to be the statutory body and that they can check their application status via a malicious link attached to the email.
Shared on its official Facebook page, EPF reminded its members to stay vigilant and to not click on any website links that are suspicious. Furthermore, the statutory body also urged members to thoroughly check emails that they received before responding, so as to ensure that it is from an official channel and not a scammer.
