WhatsApp may potentially be adding a new restriction in future versions of the app which limits users from mass forwarding messages. Spotted in the latest Google Play Beta Program version of the messaging app, the new restriction will only allow messages to be forwarded to just one group chat at a time, presumably in order to curb the spread of misinformation and fake news. 

Shared by WABetaInfo, the 2.22.7.2 version of the WhatsApp Google Play Beta Program will mark a message that has previously been forwarded. Moreover, it would then not be possible to forward it to more than one group chat at a time.

Malaysians may soon be able to own their vehicle registration number and other mainstream assets as a non-fungible token (NFT) after My E.G. Service Bhd (MyEG) announced that it is officialy entering the NFT space. The company yesterday launched NFT Pangolin, a marketplace that allows users to mint, sell and trade NFTs.

According to a report by The Star, NFT Pangolin currently supports ethereum and will operate on the Zetrix Layer 1 blockchain network after its launch in the near future. Following the release of the realme 9 Pro last month, realme has yesterday unveiled another variant of the realme 9 series, this time the 9 5G SE. Short for ‘Speed Edition’, the new phones are actually faster than its Pro cousin as it features a Snapdragon 778G, a step up from the 9 Pro’s Snapdragon 695 5G.
