ASUS has officially announced the ASUS Zenfone 8 series smartphones, which consists of the Zenfone 8, as well as the Zenfone 8 Flip starting from the price of 599 Euros (~RM2984) and  799 Euros (~RM3981) respectively. In terms of availability, both smartphones will be available for purchase around the end of May 2021 in the Malaysian market.

Earlier, Xiaomi had been blacklisted by the United States as former President Donald Trump designated the company as a “Communist Chinese military company". As a result, US citizens and companies were barred from investing or dealing with Xiaomi. Until now, it is reported that the Chinese tech company is finally removed from the blacklist following a lawsuit to US courts.

In a few more hours, ASUS will be announcing the Zenfone 8 series that will bring the Zenfone 8, Zenfone 8 Pro, and the intriguing Zenfone 8 mini. Before the launch happens, more high-resolution renders of the ASUS Zenfone 8 have appeared showing more details of the device.

It seems that Digital Chat Station recently posted on the user’s Twitter account, stating that MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 900 chipset could perform better than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 768G chipset. With that being said, we can expect smartphones equipped with this chipset to feature a better price to performance ratio compared to phones that are still using older Dimensity 800 series chipsets.

It seems that the realme C25s smartphone might have been spotted on Russia’s EEC website, hinting that the smartphone will most likely be released very soon. It seems that Samsung will be unveiling the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite based on a recently spotted FCC listing which suggests that it’ll come with 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, as well as Bluetooth LE. Today, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) just posted an announcement that Malaysians would be able to have a free call during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays. In this short announcement, all the local telcos are in agreement that the free calls will start from 10 PM today (12 May 2021) until 10 AM (13 May 2021).
