While the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may or may not be unveiled this 4 September 2013, rumours and leaked images continue to appear about the phablet. This includes front panel of the phablet. Oracle recently announced the availability of their Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile App Designer Tool for their enterprise and business users utilizing Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. The new design tool makes it easy to create customized interactive analytical apps or applications that can run off any mobile device regardless of operating system. Utilizing HTML 5, apps created using the designer tool automatically resize according to screen size thanks to a responsive web engine, allowing users to view these apps from their smartphones or tablets.
The Oracle BI Mobile App Designer uses a drag-and-drop interface that builds on the Oracle BI backend and allows business managers to create apps on their own without having to write a single line of code. This decreases dependency on the IT department, reduces the load on the already overburdened IT department and lets business managers make apps custom-fit for their needs. Apps can be shared through the App Library and viewed by simply scanning the resulting QR Code using the mobile device of choice for easy access.

Some of the newest rumours to arrive includes one about the Apple iPhone 5S getting an A7 processor chip along with a chip for motion tracking. If this is true, it would mean a much faster iPhone with better graphics while the motion tracking feature sounds like something related to air gestures or non-touch controls. These rumours come courtesy of Clayton Morris, Fox News reporter who tweeted:
“Sources are telling me the new iPhone’s A7 chip is running at about 31 per cent faster than A6. I’m hearing it’s very fast.”
“I’ve also heard there’s a separate chip devoted to motion tracking. Should be an interesting camera upgrade.”[ Read More ] -

We've seen a number of phone shops with the sign 'No SKMM' or 'Tiada Pakej Kommunikasi Belia' posted up, but an update from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has confirmed that the program was only on hold to check the effectiveness of the program. In a report from Digital News Asia, MCMC have said that the quota of 1.5 million registered youths has been taken up by 1.2 million to 1.3 million youths while the remaining slots have been voided. According to them the program would resume on 3 September for the remaining 200000 or so slots. The Youth Communication Package or Pakej Komunikasi Belia, offers an RM200 rebate for youths aged 21 to 30 years old with a monthly income of RM3000 or less who want to buy a smartphone. The MCMC go on further to confirm that "there is no new smartphone rebate programme here" which could mean that after the remaining 200000 slots have been taken up in Malaysia, there won't be another smartphone rebate program until further government deliberations so if you qualify get it while you can.
