Talking about another Samsung Galaxy S4 variant, the more rugged version called the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has revealed some more details regarding this supposedly waterproof smartphone. In bencmarks done by other tech sites, the benchmarks revealed the following:
- It will be called Samsung Galaxy S4 J Active
- Has 2 models: SGH-I537 and GT-I9295
- Uses 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus

In what appears to be a near-official leak, Samsung have let slip a new Samsung Galaxy S4 device much like the waterproof Samsung Galaxy S4 Activ and the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini. This new device is called the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mega. The leak appeared on the version update for Samsung's WatchON app where it clearly says:

While rumours regarding Acer's upcoming 8.1-inch Windows 8 powered Acer Iconia W3 have been swirling about, it has finally gone official. Acer didn't make any official announcement just yet but the tablet has appeared on the Acer web site as the Acer Iconia W3. Confirmed tech specs on the site for the Acer Iconia W3 include:
- 8.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 768) display
- Intel Atom Z2760 processor
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB storage (W3-810-27602G03nsw) / 64GB ( W3-810-27602G06nswor)
- 2MP webcam
- Windows 8 Pro

Olympus recently launched the PEN E-P5, the latest in the PEN series of Micro 4/3s digital cameras. Offering a number of great features the E-P5 increases maximum shutter speed to 1/8000s for those bokeh shots on larger aperture lenses in daylight. A very efficient 5 axis stabilized takes care of most of the the vibrations that come with a slower shutter speed shot in dim light. The E-P5 can also shoot at 9 frames per second with built-in interval and time lapse features.

Right before Google I/O, quite a few people were expecting that the good folks at Google would be releasing Android 4.3 and a new Google device or device refresh. Turns out that everything else got updated and the device in question was basically a Samsung Galaxy S4 with stock Android. This has therefore started new rumours, one of which being that we may be seeing a refresh of the Google Nexus 7 tablet and that it may come with Android 4.3.

While many have dismissed Google Glass as being just another fad, the likelihood of it staying on and growing just got bigger as a number of big names have announced apps (or Glassware as Google wants to call them) for the wearable computer glasses. These include Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, CNN and Evernote covering a range of social media, news and note taking applications. Granted, what you can do with each app is still rather limited but this should grow as the developers mature the apps even further.

Space has been a major issue with the Samsung Galaxy S4 since day 1 of it's release. This is mainly because while the smartphone technically comes with 16GB worth of storage users only get access to about 8.8GB. Samsung have since announced that they may release an update clearing up more space on the internal storage but have not specified how or when they might do so. In any case it could be something to watch for in the next firmware update of the Samsung Galaxy S4.

In a move which came as a surprise to everyone, Google announced that it would provide a Nexus experience on the Samsung Galaxy S4 at the recent Google I/O event. While many were expecting the announcement of a new Nexus device (most likely for LG to do a Google Nexus 5 smartphone) Google are instead offering the Samsung Galaxy S4 minus the Samsung TouchWiz interface. Instead it will feature stock Android Nexus and have an unlocked bootloader (so you can root it easier).

The Nokia Lumia 928 is probably the only other highly rumoured Nokia smartphone asides from the Nokia Lumia 925 (which was officially announced on 14 May 2013). However, while it does exist and most of it's tech specs seem to be accurate, it is headed just to Verizon which is a carrier in the US. Since there is no Verizon coverage in Malaysia, it just means we'll never see it here. However, to confirm rumours about it, here are some of the confirmed tech specs about the Nokia Lumia 928:
