In conjunction with the upcoming festive season, all Hotlink customers will get to enjoy a huge ton of internet date for YouTube usage. How big you ask? Well, starting today onwards until 20 February, Hotlink will be giving out a complimentary 88GB data as part of the HotlinkMU CNY Sale.

From today until 6 February 2019, any purchase of RM500 and above will be entitled to a voucher worth RM25, and RM100 for any purchases worth RM1000 and above. In order to utilize the the vouchers, simply key in VIV51CNY and VIV52CNY for the vouchers worth RM25 and RM50 respectively. Today, SOCAR Malaysia has announced its service will be officially launching soon in Penang starting from 1 February 2019 onwards. There will be 50 cars available throughout Penang with 21 zones in both the mainland and the island. In addition, a one-way drive from Kuala Lumpur to Penang will also be available.

China has officially launched the Vivo APEX 2019, the world’s first 5G smartphone with no ports or buttons. Instead of using physical buttons, the device uses the Touch Sense Technology which uses capacitive buttons to detect inputs from the user.

The highly anticipated Honor View 20 will be available in Malaysia starting from 26 January 2019, and it is priced at RM1999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage which is available in Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black while the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage at RM2499 available in Phantom Blue colour co-designed with Moschino.

So as usual at this time of every year, there is already a couple of rumoured news about the Samsung Galaxy S10 series. We have written quite a few of them here and there but it's hard to keep track of them since they just keep popping up like there's no tomorrow. So we gathered a bunch of them below are just some of the interesting bits of the flagship.

The Meizu Zero smartphone has been unveiled, showcasing a smartphone with no physical buttons and slots equipped. To explain further, the device will not have physical volume buttons and charging slots. Instead, the volume will be controlled through the capacitive buttons on the side. Charging wise, it can only be charged exclusively via 12W Wireless Charger.

Xiaomi has posted a video of a foldable phone developed by Xiaomi which is called the Xiaomi Dual Flex, or the Xiaomi MIX Flex. Based on the video, the device can be seen used in the tablet configuration with its full function 7.3-inch touch display. Moments after, it is folded twice into a one-handed smartphone configuration. The device is also able to intelligently switch between the tablet and smartphone display mode in order to appropriately display contents on the screen.

Today, HMD Global has announced that the Nokia 3.1 Plus will be available in Malaysia soon across all the authorised Nokia retailers from 25 January 2019. If you're familiar with how Nokia naming its phones, the 3.1 Plus is a definitely an entry-level device and the price is really affordable - it's only RM699 and those who purchase it on a first-come-first-serve basis will have a free phone case, tempered glass screen protector and a 5200mAh powerbank.

Rumoured to be going official as soon as 24 January 2019, renders and even a video of the vivo Apex have appeared. Featuring an all smooth exterior with no ports or jacks (and a hidden pop-up periscope front camera like the vivo nex) the Apex appears to be all screen on the front and a smooth metallic bar on the back with dual rear cameras. There doesn't appear to be any rear fingerprint sensor either, so we assume that it will have an under display fingerprint scanner. No actual buttons were in sight either.
