While smartphones nowadays are the popular devices in the market now, that doesn't mean the laptops and notebooks have gone away. Today in this review article, we have the ASUS Zenbook Pro (UX501V, not the UX501VW model, more on that later in the Features section) notebook with us and this magnificent lightweight beast cost a hefty RM6599 according to their ASUS Product Guide magazine. The new Apple iPhone 7 Plus pack a tech spec of Apple A10 Fusion quad-core 2.23 GHz CPU processor with 3 GB RAM. The device comes in 32/128/256 GB internal storage and a 5.5-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD (1080 x 1920 pixels, 401 ppi) display. It has a new 12MP rear camera and supports Wifi, NFC, GPS, 3G and 4G LTE. It packs in a Non-removable Li-Ion 2900 mAh battery. So we managed to use the device for about a week, and here's our thoughts on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Google's own Pixel XL smartphone has been taken apart by the folks at iFixit who have given it a repairability score of 6 out of 10. To put this into perspective, the recent Apple iPhone 7 got a score of 7 so while the iFixit teardown shows modular components from both Samsung and HTC, getting to them from the thin screen is a bit more difficult. No Malaysia release dates for the Google Pixel or Pixel XL but we may soon get our hands on one so stay tuned to TechNave.com.

Thanks to the good folks at ASUS Malaysia we managed to get some time with the international version (so it doesn't have the standard 3-pin adapter) of the upcoming ASUS ZenWatch 3. Featuring a round face with shiny gold bezel this Android Wear based smartwatch offers gesture-driven commands and a metallic water resistant body. The most interesting feature however, is the fact that it has the ability to playback music direct from the watch.
