Since last November, Maxis and Gamuda signed an agreement in the provision and deployment of network infrastructure and services for twentyfive.7. This time around, both parties did another Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Maxis is to provide and deploy 5G network infrastructure and services in Gamuda Cove, which will eventually be the first 5G township when it's ready in the country.

Xiaomi Malaysia recently revealed the official Malaysia pricing for their Redmi 7A smartphone from RM399 for the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage version and RM439 for the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. This is a bit lower than the previously announced RM459 pricing via the Xiaomi Global Store on Shopee but all other features and tech specs should remain the same. This includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset, large 4000 mAh battery with fast charging, 5.45-inch HD display and 13MP rear camera + 5MP front camera combo.
